Glenview ITC Plaza Chongqing

Location in the centre of the city, rooms cosy. Buffet dinner quite good, great gym.

We stayed at the Glenview ITC Chongqing and it was an amazing experience. We booked two rooms, and both were enormous with huge bathrooms that had a bathtub, a separate shower, two sinks, and a separate toilet. The rooms were beautifully equipped with plenty of amenities, and towels were changed daily. The beds were very comfortable and large — each of us had our own big single bed with two pillows. There was also a desk, great views, and we were on the 21st floor. The rooms were clean, modern, and very well maintained. The service was excellent. The staff spoke English, and one day when I was too tired to go out for dinner, a receptionist even ordered McDonald’s for me through their app — I just paid via Alipay, and it had to pick it up from the reception. The only downside was the laundry service, which was extremely expensive. We ended up paying around €60 for 15 items, counted individually (including socks). The process was a bit stressful because the staff didn’t speak much English and came to the room while we had to choose the clothes and fill out the form, so we didn’t have time to check the prices beforehand. Location is perfect, right in the center of Chongqing, with shops, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance. Overall, a fantastic stay with spacious, comfortable rooms and very attentive service.

The room and the view were great from the high floor we were in, the hotel is modern and well equiped, the staff is very nice, the location is in the center at walking distance from many things and metro. But they don't always observe the non-smoking request and there are still smoking rooms. The breakfast rate was expensive the area, so we did not take it. But there are many coffee and local restaurants open closeby.

I booked 3 separate rooms with an extra large double bed in each room for my family for 2 nights stay. Booking.com gave me free upgrade to 3 Deluxe Business Rooms with breakfast included. The rooms were so beautiful, so big & also on the high floor! It has a desk, a seating area, kitchenette & sofa bed, the extra large double bed was so comfortable! We love the amazing gold trimmed bathroom with a large bathtub, beautiful vanities and equipped with very high quality towels, bathroom toiletries or hotel amenities. We really enjoyed soaking in the bathtub with Epsom salts provided by the hotel after a day out in Chongqing. Glenview ITC Plaza Chongqing is a truly 5-Star Hotel! Highly recommend it & value for money!

The hotel is central and within walking distance to the Linjiangmen MRT and most of the major sightseeing spots. We were upgraded to an executive room which was big and quiet. Staff from the reception to the cleaning and technical people were unfailingly polite and helpful.
